Relationship and communication support
Individual work on your side of a relationship: boundaries, communication patterns and what you bring into conflict, not couples counselling.
This is one-on-one work, not couples counselling, for clients wanting to understand their own part in a recurring relationship pattern: over-explaining, avoiding conflict entirely, or letting other people's needs crowd out a decision that was actually theirs to make. Much of it comes down to plain boundary work, deciding who gets a seat at the table and who doesn't, and practising saying that clearly rather than after the fact.

02How it runs
Step by step, in this order
Every session: 50 min. You always know which part you're on.
- 01 First session identifies the recurring pattern, not just the latest incident
- 02 Boundary and communication work practised in the room
- 03 A specific conversation planned and reviewed after you've had it
- 04 Ongoing check-ins as the pattern actually starts to shift
Can my partner come to the session too?
Not at Even Keel; Alison, Daniel and Tessa see individuals only. We're happy to suggest a colleague locally who offers couples-specific sessions.
Is this only for romantic relationships?
No, the same boundary and communication work applies to family, friendship or workplace relationships.
